Moira joined the Trust in September 2006. She is responsible for developing provision for all students, including the very able, in schools and colleges. She does this through our Advisory Service, presenting at conferences and via publications. Moira’s first degree was in Natural Sciences and she was a research scientist before a career change into education.

Her previous roles include Head of Science, Head of Sixth Form, Assistant Head and Gifted and Talented Strand Coordinator for an Excellence in Cities cluster. She has a Masters Level Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Practice: Gifted and Talented Education. She has written Science textbooks for schools and co-wrote Developing Very Able Students at Post-16.
