Villiers Park CEO Rae Tooth has been appointed as a governor of the University of Winchester.
The move will strengthen the charity’s growing profile in higher education.
The university said that Rae “brings experience in higher education policy in particular around improving access, progression, and success for socially disadvantaged and underrepresented groups”.
Rae said: “I’m honoured to have become a governor of such an illustrious university. This opportunity will enable me to continue raising the profile of Villiers Park and our mission to advance social mobility through education.”
