Applying for a Course
“The Villiers Park course gave me a head start at the beginning of university as I had learnt much of the background that other students hadn’t.”
Fiona, 2:1 in German and Linguistics, University of Edinburgh

Our courses are usually oversubscribed so we cannot guarantee you a place. We are committed to fair access and a number of places on each course are set aside for students who will be the first generation in their family going onto university.
The participant’s contribution is £325 per course which includes accommodation, meals, tuition and any trips or visits. This represents a third of the cost with our charity subsidising the remaining two-thirds. Students at fee paying schools will need to pay the full cost of £739. If your application for a course is successful we will invoice your school.
Are you worried about paying for the course?
If you were in receipt of free school meals or your family income is less than £33,000 per annum you may be able to apply for a bursary. When submitting your application form it must be accompanied by a letter from your school/college confirming your family’s financial situation and requesting a bursary.
