Mekala Alleyne
Progression Coach, Swindon
I joined Villiers Park in January 2026, bringing with me a real passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential. I love being part of a space that encourages students to believe in themselves, achieve their goals and thrive.
I studied Arts with a focus on Communication Studies and Mass Media, which later led me to explore graduate research in child development and how it connects with the ever-changing world of technology.
I’ve spent several years working in education, where I discovered how much I care about encouraging engagement within under-represented communities. One of the biggest steps I’ve taken was moving abroad to complete my degree, it pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way, and I hope it encourages others to take that leap and see their own potential.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me doing something creative, going for long walks, or experimenting with homemade ice cream flavours.
