Our commitment to safeguarding
Villiers Park is committed to safeguarding all children and young people, as outlined in our Safeguarding Policy.
We believe that no child or young person should experience abuse or harm of any kind and give equal priority to keeping all children and young people safe. Safeguarding and protecting children and young people who come into contact with us is everyone’s responsibility. Effective safeguarding emphasises early intervention, protection from harm (both online and offline) and promotes the best outcomes for all.
Our safeguarding team
We have a designated safeguarding team who lead on all aspects of safeguarding and child protection for Villiers Park.
The team support all our staff and volunteers with safeguarding issues and develop our policies and procedures for safeguarding and child protection to ensure we do all we can to keep children and young people safe.
The team is led by our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Julie Kiddier and includes our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Alex Grant, our CEO, Gaby Sumner and our Strategic Projects Manager, Jenny Parr.

You can also contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead to report any non-recent child abuse linked to the work of Villiers Park. Non-recent abuse, sometimes called historical abuse, refers to abuse that happened when someone who is now an adult was under the age of 18. Whether it happened recently or many years ago, whether it happened once or many times, it is never too late to report and there is support to help you.
