Assistant Director, Digital and Innovation

I joined Villiers Park in 2026 as Assistant Director for Digital and Innovation. I work with our teams and partners across the country, growing and improving our programmes through digital tools. I’m thrilled to be part of such an exciting mission, as we guide learners from all backgrounds towards successful futures.

After an early career working for major technology firms, I started my teaching journey through TeachFirst, leading English departments and coaching educators from the Sudanese refugee community. Now, with nearly a decade in education across a range of schools – from east London to west Cairo – I’ve been able to see first-hand how young people engage with education on their own terms, and how important it is to shape our offerings to meet their needs.

Beyond the classroom, I’m a mediocre runner, lapsed cellist, and trainee bowler. I had a fleeting film career as a villain in a major Egyptian blockbuster, and may also look vaguely familiar if you watched a lot of daytime television in 2016.
